Travel Certificate

TRAVEL CERTIFICATE

A travel certificate is issued to citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina only in a case of an emergency, it is used for traveling one way to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The travel certificate expires after 30 days.

For the issuance of a travel document it is necessary to submit the following documents to the address of the Consulate General of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

1. A completed application form for the issuance of a travel certificate;

2. A copy of a one-way airplane ticket.

3. A declaration stating that you have been informed that the travel certificate is a document issued only for the purpose of traveling one-way to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

4. Proof of citizenship - an original or a copy of an earlier passport of Bosnia and Herzegovina or an original certificate of citizenship (cannot be older than six months)

5. An original certificate of birth (cannot be older than six months)

6. Two passport size photos

7. Money order or a cashier's check for the amount listed (link)

IMPORTANT:  In cases of an illness or a death of a family member or a close family member in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is necessary to provide us with a letter or a doctor's note with a seal of the medical facility in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
