Verification of Copies/Photocopies


 

VERIFICATION OF COPIES/PHOTOCOPIES


The verification of copies of a document is to be made for the purpose of certifying that the copy is identical to its original.  When verifying, the full text of the copy is carefully compared with that of the original documents.

Copies must match the text of the original documents in spelling, punctuation, and abbreviation of words. The same procedure is used to determine the IDENTICALITY of a photocopy of a document with the original document.

Original documents for verification by the General Consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina should be submitted in person or priority mail with a cashier’s check or money order for the appropriate amount, according to the current prices for consulate services made out to the the General Consulate of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chicago.
